Wealth Redistribution Rooted in Trust and Joy

If you're reading this, chances are you have wealth—more than you and your family need to live well. Meanwhile, you’re aware that there are billions of people who do not have secure housing, food, healthcare or finances. You’re curious about what it might look like to give away a substantial amount of your resources in a meaningful way, one that works towards a more just and equitable present and future for everyone.

I get it. I am right there with you.

For over 20 years I've navigated my own journey as a donor: fumbling through should-based giving and slowly discovering what was preventing me from fully living in my values. Over time, I have learned that collaborating with and being guided by movement leaders — while also listening to my own internal sense of what feels joyful and liberatory — is what works for me.

As your Wealth Distribution Guide, I can help you discover what works for you; together we will move resources that you don’t need to the places where they will have profound impact. And we will do it with joy, trust, and attunement.

This work is about redistribution. It's about becoming a good ancestor. It's about listening to people on the frontlines. It’s about sharing power and resources. It’s about finding alignment between your values and your actions, using your whole self—not just your rational mind—as a guide.

If this resonates, I'd be honored to walk alongside you.

What Will We Do Together?

Everyone’s work around wealth redistribution looks a little different.

The power of this work is that I’ll meet you where you are. Whether you’ve developed a meaningful giving plan that just needs a little honing, or you’re starting to investigate deeper held intergenerational beliefs about money, security, and philanthropy, I’ll support you as we explore:

  • Values: What do you value, and how do those values live in your day to day and in your giving plan?

  • History: What has your personal and generational relationship to money, wealth, and redistribution been like? What do you want to keep? What would you like to let go of?

  • Emotional and Functional Support: What comes up when you talk about money? About class? About family and community? What information do you actually need to determine how much you need and how much your community needs?

  • Somatic wisdom: How does your body let you know when actions feel aligned? What does it feel like when you talk about your relationship to your values and redistribution?

  • Redistribution Plan: Where are you moving your money? Does it align with your vision of a healthy world? Could you give more?

If you have questions, or just want to see what it would be like to work together, you can schedule a free 30 minute session.

About Me

I guide individuals on journeys of wealth redistribution that ask: what if our money moved with a spirit of curiosity, trust, liberation, solidarity, and repair?

After more than 20 years of working as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Somatic Experiencing Practitioner, while simultaneously moving my own family’s wealth, I began searching for a different kind of work that would bring me hope, joy, and alignment. I have found it in conversations about redistributing wealth and trust to make lasting social change. These are the kinds of conversations I have with my clients, while supporting them both functionally and emotionally to move into a deeper and more meaningful relationship with redistribution.

In addition to my expertise in therapy and somatic work, I also draw on my training in Transformative Mediation, as well as my learning as an Certified Impact Philanthropy Advisor. These varied modalities, along with my own personal experience with redistributing my own wealth and working with my family to redistribute collaboratively, give me a wide variety of lenses to look through as we determine what kind of support you will need.

Together we can explore what motivates you, what is holding you back, and how you can move towards a more joyful and trusting process of effecting real change.

What questions do you have about the intersection of liberating money, sharing power, and changing systems?

Whatever they are, I want to hear them. So let’s get started!

  1. There is enough!

The world has enough resources: money, time, ideas, space, security. But they aren’t distributed in an equitable way. As a wealthy person, doing the work of sharing money, time and care does not have to leave you at a deficit. We want abundance and safety for everyone, including you, and that is possible.

  2. Philanthropy rooted in capitalism does not work.

I like to use the term “redistribution” instead of “philanthropy” because redistribution implies living into a changing world, while “philanthropy” is steeped in static class patterns. The real truth is that redistribution work has its roots in communities without much financial wealth. Giving circles, susus, mutual aid—these are the models to return to—the models that communicate “We are all in this together, and my well-being is tied up in yours.”

  3. How money moves matters as much as where it goes.

Money that moves with curiosity, trust, and solidarity lands differently. Repair is not only the redistribution of wealth, but what happens along the way when it includes the disruption of power and mutually reciprocated trust. Figuring out how to release money with a sense of true liberation, care, and joy will mean that it is received that way. That work will be the undoing of systemic inequity.
